“Comparison is the thief of joy,” said Theodore Roosevelt and that is especially true in the business of writing and publishing. I remember when as a little girl I asked my dad for some advice about life and he said: “Just mind your own business.” How wise is that! Just do your thing, do it with joy, know that you’re right on track and live your life to its fullest and if you do need to compare yourself to somebody else, compare yourself to the person you were the day before!
